The Alfa Romeo Spider was manufactured from 1966 to 1993 and is
widely regarded as a design classic. remaining in production for
almost three decades having only minor aesthetic and mechanical
changes. The first three series were assembled by Pininfarina in
Grugliasco and the fourth series in San Giorgio Canavese; this was
the last rear wheel drive Alfa Romeo. The Spider underwent a major
styling revamp in 1983 which saw the introduction of black rubber
front and rear bumpers. The front bumper incorporated the grille
and a small soft rubber spoiler was added to the boot lid. Various
other minor mechanical and aesthetic modifications were also made
and the 1600 car dropped the 'Junior' name.

This righthand drive Alfa Romeo was originally registered on
4th April 1984 and has had five former keepers. The
odometer reading is 50. 00 kilometres and is thought to be correct.
Benefitting from recent works including a new mohair hood. tyres. br/>battery and exhaust; all the body panels appear to be original and
the red paintwork is in very good order as is the beige leather
trim. The 1972cc engine runs well and the car is described as
driving with no known faults. Supplied with a V5C registration
document. an MoT test certificate valid until 20th
September 2016 and some service history. this Alfa Romeo Spider
represents a very attractive purchase ready for the summer's
weekend motoring.
