Wow. find another of these if you can. This is a 1968 Corvette Convertible and it is a 427 big block tri-power car of 400 horse. The car is automatic and has it's original radio. I say that for a reason - the radio is absolutely the only option on this car other than the factory hardtop. So this is virtually a zero option car. The mileage has just turned 60 K and the first set of discs have just been drilled off. There's a paper trail back to day one supporting the mileage plus a research sheet showing the names. addresses & telephone numbers of virtually all owners from new. Please note that the cherished registration is not included in the sale.

INTERIOR.

Absolute time warp survivor condition. The whole interior appears to be all original and simply superb. Don't ask about the birdcage. if you want a birdcage click on Pet Shops. suffice to say this car is completely rust free. and that means everywhere. All the dash gauges works and read as they should. Even the key alarm and the vanity lights are all operational. even the tiny vanity light in the rear of the car works as it should. All weatherseals are superb as are door cards. all carpets. all consoles. seats including their backs. all dash. sunvisors. steering wheel & column. seat belts etc - everything is superb.

MECHANICS.

Matching numbers throughout with the exception of a brand new radiator that has recently been fitted. The whole engine bay is virtually as it left the factory. even down to the braided plug wires and ignition shielding. The wiper deck lid is straight up & down. and doesn't trap the wipers. and the headlights operate as they should with no messing around. straight up and straight down. The brakes are all recent stainless including the park brake. The exhaust is stock and in good order. Rear light lenses are date coded and perfect condition.

EXTERIOR.

What can I say except superb. Stunning paintwork. superb chrome. even down low under the front bumper. All 4 tyres are matching and brand new. All beauty rings and caps have been replaced with new. The factory hard top is one of the finest I have ever seen. absolutely all complete and a factory vinyl covered one at that.
