Seller's notes: The vehicle is in terrifically good condition, however there are some areas of wear in keeping with being a vehicle of 45 years of age. We have included photos to highlight areas of imperfection such as the dents in the exhaust, scratching in the windows and marks on the brightwork. The vehicle is not represented as a perfectly restored vehicle, and is in a very good condition overall however has some age related relative wear. Mileage on odometer is not likely accurate, as is the case with many of these cars.

An extensive refreshing of the vehicle was performed earlier in 2015 by Jetstream Custom Auto in Sidney. BC for a noted Victoria Porsche collector and enthusiast. The car was completely dis-assembled. any and all areas of corrosion were dealt with professionally. and the car was re-painted in its original colour of Bahia Red. The paint on the car is very well executed and offers a far better than original finish throughout. Body and window seals were replaced on re-assembly for a very clean finished product that presents exceptionally well. For the interior. this included new. correct carpeting. and re-upholstering the seats in black leather with hounds tooth fabric in the centre sections. The drivetrain was removed. thoroughly cleaned. inspected and repairs effected where required. The correct Zenith carburetors are present on the vehicle's original 2. 2 litre engine. and have been gone through as well to ensure proper and reliable operation. Everything was detailed with a keen eye. Items were re-plated. painted and treated to present a spotless engine compartment that looks as new. The front trunk area was similarly tended too. and features refinished paint throughout. a refinished fuel tank and rebuilt fuel breather system along with the correct and original dual battery system. A secondary mechanical inspection was carried out by another noted Porsche-specialist in Vancouver. Scan Automotive Inc. . where final servicing was performed prior to being offered here for sale.

The car comes complete with service records. owners manual. spare keys. jack. tool kit and Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

Early 911's are rapidly appreciating collectible cars for many reasons. but our favourite has to be because they are so enjoyable to drive. They are especially reliable as classic cars go. especially in the carbureted ‘T' configuration eminently stylish and a lot of fun to drive.
