EXTERIOR
Finished in desirable Midnight Blue this Carrera 2 looks dazzling under our studio lights. The paintwork is in great condition and displays a marvellous shine with a deep metallic flake. This example also benefits from a lowered suspension. which. complemented by the Cup design alloy wheels. conveys a stunning ‘RS' aesthetic.

Looking closer there are no scuffs to be found anywhere. with no major scratches or dents to the bodywork either. All the plastic trim around the vehicle appears in good order. with each of the lenses clear and free from moisture. You may notice how the front fog lights have been replaced with air ducts from the 964 Turbo. another nice upgrade.

INTERIOR
Upon opening the door of the 964 you are greeted with the welcoming site of complementary blue leather upholstery. Being a low mileage example. the condition of the interior is excellent. There is little or no wear to the bolsters of the seats. which remain both supple and supportive. The electric seat adjustment switches operate well.

Looking further the door cards and dash trim present in wonderful shape with no cracks. scratches or fading. while the steering wheel and gearshift retain a good texture also. What's more. the rear seats give the appearance of having never been sat in. Throughout the vehicle the carpets are superb. and are protected by a full set of Porsche mats.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Lifting the rear lid reveals a very tidy engine bay indeed. All pipes. plastics and rubbers appear in great order with most of the original factory stickers still in place. All mechanical components remain in excellent fettle.

Once started. the car sounds great with the 964's ‘new' design of camshaft chain tensioner removing much unwanted noise compared to previous models. As to be expected. the engine pulls well and the Tiptronic 4-speed automatic gearbox feels smooth yet responsive.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
This example is equipped with the optional 17-inch Cup design alloy wheels. all of which are unmarked and present like new. finished nicely with coloured Porsche centre caps.

The wheels are shod in a recent. matching set of Bridgestone Potenza tyres. What's more the black Porsche callipers present nicely between the spokes. and the discs show plenty of life remaining.

HISTORY FILE
The Porsche has covered a mere 94. 36km to date. which equates to just 58. 79 miles. Having previously resided in a dry climate. the car was recently imported into the UK. where all duties and taxes have since been paid.

Present in the History File is the original leather Porsche document holder. complete with the dealer-supplied owner's manual and service booklet. The service booklet is not only signed and stamped but also accompanied by numerous inspection sheets. illustrating works carried out and at what mileages. The file is complete with a fresh MOT certificate that does not expire until July 2016.
