Toyota : Land Cruiser FJ40

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. offered is this beautiful example of an original unmolested "Barn Find" FJ 40.

It's really 100% original Toyota factory steel rust free good drivable above average condition.

I think its an amazing selling point that its a vintage model year with drum brakes all round. has a 4 sp transmission. and the 2 F motor. also that the entire rear tub is all factory steel. I have never seen another 40 series this original rust free!
Body Condition:

The entire Land Cruiser is original without any rust anywhere. I will try to describe each area. front doors. rust free. and the back doors are same conditions. and the lower sill is mint rust free. and both back corners are clean rust free. all floor pans original and rust free. frame is rust free. all areas under wheel wells are rust free. overall its a rust free as the day it rolled out of the factory! I cannot begin to describe how clean this body is. I can run my finger down every inside seam without feeling even a slight bump. Smooth as silk. clean. no rust anywhere. Underneath is unmolested no undercoating. you can see what you have. its clean. This is a barn find. it has been in dry storage for ever. If you ever wanted a clean rust free 40 this is the one to make your own. perfect candidate for diesel upgrade.

Drivetrain:

The drivetrain is excellent.

Tons of power on the updated 2 F engine.

Excellent compression in all 6-cyl's.

Transmission is the 4-speed Toyota and the T-Case is stock.

Tires and rims are used but factory Toyota.

The entire exhaust system is in brand new condition. Original NOS springs and shackles. with good new heavy duty shocks. Brakes are all brand new. new brake lines and all parts replaced. clutch new. emergency brake works well. drive shafts good with new universal joints. Birfields good no leaks. amazing machine!
Interior:

The interior is all 100% perfect condition. Front seats and rear jump seats have been reupholstered to original in leather. All doors & windows are good and completely operational and door panels perfect as new.

No weather-stripping throughout. comes with NOS needs install.

Original emblems. come with vehcial.

All hardware is clean and operational.

comes with lots of NOS goodies.

Electrical:

All dials and gauges 100% operational.

All signals. stops. turn. hazard. and lights tested working. needs the front dash wire harness to be replaced. new used harness comes included with sale.

Tops:

Comes to you with its original factory Hard Top in very good shape all rubber seals look soft and pliable. perfect never any rust.

This 40 Series Land Cruiser starts and stops good when tested. will need some wiring to complete.

She turns sharp. NO weird noises. funny squeaks. or issues. It is sold as is where is.

Note: Does not have AC or Power Steering or disc brakes. Steering components check out and are tight and turns easily. Slight play in wheel. Any questions. please ask.
