Since the models launch in 1980 the single biggest upgrade of technical specification had been the introduction. for 1987 Model Year. of Fuel Injection. Anti-Lock Brakes and Seat Position Memory.
At the 1989 Frankfurt Motorshow the Silver Spirit II was launched. The cars appearance was altered by the addition of Alloy Wheels. added to assist the operation of the all new Automatic Ride Control. This system automatically adjusted the dampers at each wheel in real time. responding to input from steering. brakes and throttle.
The facia was updated to accommodate a further pair of bull-eye vents and to reposition the gear selector indicator. In addition the front seats were given heating and adjustable lumbar support.
First registered in August 1990 our Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit II benefits from all of the above features. In addition the original owner specified that the factory install Cocktail Requisites to the rear compartment.
In remarkable condition and retaining all of the original equipment which is so often lost over the years including service books. small tool kit. lambswool over rugs. as well as the cocktail requisites.
The astonishingly low mileage is reflected in the general condition. An exceptional Rolls-Royce ready for the road and the summer ahead.
