Excellent condition 1968 Mini Deluxe. fully rebuilt in 2007 with: - Reconditioned A Plus 1300 cc engine - Reconditioned gearbox - Professionally resprayed in Tahiti Blue with white roof. Paint still looks great but has some very small scratches and marks. normal wear & tear - Receipts available for all the above work. carried out in 2007 with very low miles since then. - Cooper S brakes all round. - Adjustable HiLo's in front. - Brand new 12x6 "Rose Petal" wheels with excellent Falken 165x60x12 tyres. Can't find any rust anywhere on body but as I'm not an expert would prefer you to inspect for yourself. Interior set-up to totally capture the original Cooper S atmosphere and features original Paddy Hopkirk drivers seat. all brand new major instruments including Cooper S 200 KPH speedo. NOS original heater (not connected). brand new Momo prototypo steering wheel. hidden brand new Clarion head unit with Bluetooth. etc. Car is fully registered in Victoria until Sept 2015. so can be test driven. Overall. a great car all round that starts. drives and feel exactly as it should. Car is advertised elsewhere. so I reserve the right to cancel this auction if it sells in the meantime. That's about it. I've tried to describe it as accurately as possible but I'm not a mechanic so strongly recommend your inspection if your interested. car is in inner East Melbourne. Pick up only. I can be reached on 0414 892 222 for any questions. Its been pointed out to me that because the car has a floor starter button (that works). the shell must be an 850 & presumably not a 68 deluxe. I don't have the expertise to determine this. but it might well be the case. so anyone interested should consider this. Cheers
