The Morris Minor was produced from 1948 until 1971. With striking looks and fine road manners. the Minor is still great fun to drive today. Early cars were side-valve. followed by OHV engines. first 803. then 948 and finally in 1962. 1100cc.

This car is a 1963 1098cc Minor in Rose Taupe with red and white interior. It is in outstanding condition; the body is excellent with a “glass like” paint finish – please see the additional photos.

The interior is very original and also in beautiful condition. On the road this beautiful Morris drives just as well as it looks and is ready for the road. Recent expenditure includes a complete brake overhaul with new hoses. shoes and wheel cylinders. new rear shock absorbers. water pump and an engine service.

We are big fans of the now not so humble Morris Minor and this rare four door car is from the very best period of production. The '62 /'63 cars were the first to be fitted with the 1098cc engine and later gearbox but retained charming early features such as two-tone seats. pull button starter. early speedometer etc. Minor experts often say that cars from this period were better built than later examples. There are cheaper ones on offer but this car presents as well as any we have seen and needs to be viewed to be fully appreciated.
