2002 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante for sale
Current customer rating: (459 votes ) based onIntroduced in 1993 to the public. the handsome new DB7 was Aston
Martin's first six cylinder model since production of the DBS had
finished in 1971. Styled by Ian Callum. its lines were evocative of
earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be
seen in its design. Arguably one of the most attractive looking
cars ever produced by Aston Martin. the DB7 was well received and
attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of
the curvaceous two-door coupé body and powerful six-cylinder
engine. At the Geneva Motor Show in 1999. Aston Martin introduced
the 6 litre Cosworth designed and built V12 engine with 24 valve
heads. developing 420bhp limited to 185mph. Other changes included
chassis and braking upgrades. the much more powerful engine
demanding greater quantities of air intake and cooling. as well as
up rated brakes. Ian Callum enlarged the grill. added fog lamps and
re-styled the valances to give the car a more brutal look.
This righthand drive. ZF automatic DB7 V12 Vantage Volante was
supplied new in April 2002 and is finished in a metallic Atlantic
blue with grey leather interior. The vendor tells us that this
example has been well maintained and is supplied with a V5
registration document and a current MoT test certificate.
Undeniably one of the most attractive designs of any modern sports
car and superb value for money. this car is in good condition and
has only had three former keepers from new. Regarded by many as the
purest modern Aston Martin and very desirable. the DB7 should prove
to be a very sound investment and is equally at home in the city or
out on the open road.
