Current customer rating: (313 votes ) based onWe bought the car to drive for a while and at some point have a nut and bolt restoration done on it. it would be an awesome candidate for one. We've had some things get in the way of having it done so we have decided not to do it. So I would like to pass it on to someone who would like to restore it. or leave it as it is and enjoy it. We have taken it to local car shows and have gotten good reviews. We bought the car is being numbers matching but have never verified them. It has a tag on the fender to verify. The underneath of the car is very nice as well as the trunk and under the hood as you can see in the pictures. The car has no rust on it anywhere that we know of. nbsp; we would consider the condition as a nice driver not a trailer queen. but we are picky. For example. It does need some cosmetic things like the factory radio needs replaced and it has a crack in the dash. some of the moldings may have a few dings etc. Then again if the car were close to. or a trailer queen it would be worth three times what we are looking to get out of it. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Buyer is responsible for pick-up and we will help in any way possible. Thanks for looking!

Some information about the Dodge Challengers:Chrysler's E-body platform debuted in 1970 as a base for Plymouth's latest Barracuda and Dodge's all-new Challenger. Rolling on a longer wheelbase (110 inches. compared to 108). the Challenger appeared in hardtop and convertible forms with either six-cylinder or V8 power. A prestigious Special Edition sports hardtop and performance-conscious R/T package also were available either separately or together. Standard for the R/T. offered from 1970 to '71. was the 335-horsepower 383 Magnum V8. R/T options included the 375-horse 440. 390-horse 440 Six Pack. and 425-horse 426 Hemi. Dodge's 275-horse 340-cid small-block V8 was optional for non-R/T Challengers. A 290-horsepower 340 fitted with three two-barrel carburetors was the exclusive engine for the limited-edition Challenger T/A. built for 1970 only. The V8-powered Challenger Rallye hardtop was the hottest model available from 1972 to '74. and the 340 small-block remained the strongest engine during those years after the Hemi and 440 big-block were dropped after 1971. By far the most coveted Challenger was 1970's Hemi R/T convertible—only nine were built.
