Before you send me

that awful question. "what's your reserve or bottom line".

let's take a moment to explain the book value below and how

to get a deal on e Bay. Book values from the NADA Guide and

other sources online are not fictitious figures or double

reality as most low bidders would hope for. They are actual

figures produced from transactions all over the country on

similar vehicles. In other words. they are quite accurate.

Over 28 years in the business. dealers like myself . buy and

sell according to theses researched values. I always enjoy

those who bid figures that are well below book values. it's

somewhat entertaining. but it never gets them the vehicles

they dream for especially when those vehicles are in top

level condition like ours. We are here

to sell cars. With twelve years exclusively on e Bay and

perfect feedback. it's obvious we do.

How? Well. that's easy too. Real buyers with serious offers

in mind call us. They almost always want to talk to the

person in charge that's me. I want to talk to you too and

help you own this awesome vehicle. It keeps me in business.

So. if you want a fantastic vehicle like you see here. one

that is far above the average in condition. serviced and

documented like this. simply call. Asking through email for

my bottom line? Well. I just think you're not too serious or

willing to make an offer makes it a waste of my time and

yours. If you just want to know what the market value is. do

what we do. look at NADA

Guide and

other online sources. Does that mean we always hope to get

exactly book value. above or below? That's a loaded

question. Depends on the rarity. miles and condition. Most

important though. since you "are" a ser

ious and capable

buyer. call me and let's talk. I don't wear a Plaid Coat. I

don't talk really fast and I am the guy in charge. the

owner. enthusiast and purveyor of some of the finest cars on

the internet. not to mention the best thorough

presentations.

Let's make a deal. Call

RARE AS YOU ALREADY KNOW. SOLID

SOUTHWESTERN CONVERTIBLE WITH A PERFECTLY RUST FREE

UNDERCARRIAGE.

BUT WAIT. THERE'S MORE.

I bought this gorgeous Bermuda Blue

Lincoln Continental convertible just over a year ago. So

excited was I to have my first 1963 (the year I was

born) Continental Convertible. I have seen many of them

over the last 28 years in the business. but I either

could not afford them or they were rust buckets and I

had no intention to buy a builder. I love superb driver

quality cars the kind you can take to any show. be

respected for the quality but also drive it there if you

feel like it. So my priorities are simple. I hate rust.

I don't like leaks all over my driveway and I want all

the important items functioning. So when i bought this

beauty. off to the shop she went. Her overall condition

was fantastic. a solid southwestern survivor but she had

leaks all over the engine and transmission. the top only

partially worked and almost every window switch was

broken. Next step. pull the drivetrain. reseal it and

fully service the running gear. dang. that took more

than my budget imagined. Then over to our local

convertible top and power window specialist. This was

one hell of an ordeal. Switches were replaced and

rebuilt. lots of them. I thought the engine was

expensive. HA! There is a big financial reason you will

see plenty of Continental Convertibles online WITHOUT

working tops. BIG PESO. But like I stated earlier.

function is my priority.

This car starts. runs and goes down the road. turning

heads at every corner and increasing in value every

year.

Power windows. locks. factory cruise control

and a lot more make this Lincoln one of the best

optioned Continentals you'll ever find.

Shiny

paint. a smooth body. an absolute knockout interior and

mechanically awesome this extremely rare convertible is

sure to impress your entourage . . .

After spending thousaands for new top.

service & installation and several hundred more on hard

to find servos and limit switches. this convertible top now

functions as it should . . . and absolutely gorgeous.

Rear bumper is new rechromed. wipers work

and all exterior lights are clear and bright . . .

Exterior bright work look great and all

glass is in outstanding condition . . .

There is no other shape in the world

like the top-down profile of an early '60 s Continental

convertible.

In 1963. only the rich and famous

were seen in Lincolns a loaded convertible could often

be nearly three times the price of a new Galaxie.

This slab sided. recognized Milestone Classic today is

one of the most desired vintage luxury convertibles of

all time. Always in high demand. an original drive

train. unmolested beauty like this is the car collectors

look for.

Continental convertibles are also pop

culture icons and prices are sure to increase for a

quality driver with an interior this nice . . .

Pretty to look at and prettier still to sit

in. touch and enjoy. they just don't do interiors like this

anymore.

Upholstery is great. door panels are awesome.

bright work is gorgeous and the showroom dash doesn't have a

single crack . . . even our sweet model Kendal enjoyed the

easy drivability of this Lincoln.

Pretty over here too and this is one of the

very few cars that can seat six in actual comfort . .

.

Not just pretty to look at. ok. yes. she is.

but that engine is original to the car. resealed. purrs like

The book values posted are high retail

figures for vehicle that DO NOT represent #1 cars. but high

quality vehicles as stated below. If you don't want to pay

this kind of money then real simple. tell me what you will

pay. People ask me all the time what's my "bottom line" and

yet they have no intention of giving me an offer even when I

tell them. That is why I auction my cars online. Although.

99% of my cars sell to respectable serious buyers that call

up and make me fair offers before the auctions even close. I

am the owner. I bought the car for my business. made it as

right as you see and we disclosed. so giving bottom lines.

to non-buyers it just plain dumb. Your money is in your

pocket and you know what you are willing to pay despite my

hopes. costs or bottom lines. Just make a fair intelligent

offer. I already know you've done your homework and you know

what it takes to buy quality. here it is just in time for

Santa to put it under your tree. Pick up your phone and

let's make a deal. Let's not waste my time or yours. I will

sell to serious buyers. but tire kickers just bug the hell

out of me.

A note from the owner.

I am a “used car dealer” but before that.

I'm an automobile enthusiast.

I love original rare and high

quality modified vintage cars and over the past decade I've

been in business. have come to appreciate an expanding

selection of high-demand. high value vehicles.

I specialize

in and am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that

were cherished by their previous owners.

I have an

experienced eye for quality but I've discovered that my

preferred buyer can instantly discern such a vehicle and I

have therefore. built my business and reputation around

finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer.

Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict

requirements but a car must do something for me on a

personal level if there is any hope of convincing you. the

bidder. that this is an above average. exceptional

vehicle.

If nothing about the car excites me. it probably

won't do much for you either and I would soon be out of

business.

With just four employees and no sales

people. I realize how unusual a “dealership” like mine may

at first glance appear.

It has taken great care and effort

to create such an organization and often. an unusually high

investment in a particular car we are about to list.

To

sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my

corner and Chris. owner of

A-Best Auto Repair

in Henderson. Nevada has my back.

He and his crew can fix

anything from a low budget beater to the absolute

most expensive exotic you can name. no job is too big and no

small detail unimportant.

They do an exhaustive 130 point

inspection on each and every vehicle and nothing escapes

their methodical investigation.

Experience has shown that

everything I spend making a car truly “right” will come back

to me not only with a higher selling price. but a happy

customer that says good things about me.

Moreover it

allows my writer to describe the car with ease and

confidence. something that simply is not possible unless

he thinks it is true.

If major issues are found or the

cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too

expensive to sell. my choice is an easy one.

I simply

absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it

at auction.

After the vehicle is fully sorted it

arrives at our facility where it encounters the suspicious

eye of Tom. my writer that creates the presentations you see

on e Bay.

He believes absolutely nothing I or anyone else

tells him about the car as he combs over every inch.

researches its history and documents originality and

authenticity.

Historical significance. rarity. special

features. possible modifications and much more are used to

accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty.

Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 150

high resolution pictures that I take myself.

The pricey

equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the

very best professional photographers and I've developed a

logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with

close-up shots of every square inch.

I provide detailed

views of the interior. under the hood and then put it on a

lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty

of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep.

Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they so

meticulously clean.

This reconditioning can sometimes take

several days and I've converted a paint booth. especially

prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each

car lovingly receives.

Usually. I'll also include a high

definition video that shows the car doing its thing.

If

it's a fast car. we film it going fast.

If it's a 4 x 4

you'll see it crawling up a hill.

In every case you will

hear things like a rumbling exhaust. working sound system

and watch the temperature fall on a digital. laser

thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent.

How many

“dealers” will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? We

do.

No “dealer. on-line or in the real

world. takes it to this level.

No other seller or

organization provides you. the buyer. with so much

information.

I do this because it is the only way I can

convince a person often a world away. unable to touch or

feel their purchase. that my vehicle is for real and what I

say is the truth.

All the above is necessary for me to stay

in business while keeping integrity intact.

I want every

buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on

e Bay.

To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that

are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought

it.

If you have any questions at all. please

call me on my cell at: .

If your inquiry is

sincere and your offer serious. you'll find me the most

accommodating business partner you've ever dealt with.

If

you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or “what is my

bottom line” I will be looking for ways to politely end the

conversation.

Until you are ready to actually pull the

trigger. I will happily quote you the absolute highest

nationally advertised suggested retail price I can find – a

number we both know will not buy the car so. don't waste

your time. or mine.

I am after all. a “used car dealer. ”

Serious buyers know the maximum they can

offer.

I then must simply decide if I can sell for that

number.

If you hit the reserve. the decision is no

longer mine.

I must sell at that number.
