Lincoln : Continental Mark II for sale
Current customer rating:
This car was originally sold in Santa Monica Ca. and spent all of its life until recently in Ca. and Az. And thus is essentially rust free. It was owned for many years by the famous Mark II enthusiast Buddy Holiday.
It had an amateur bare metal repaint about 2 years ago. and certainly not show quality. According to the previous seller and
information found on the internet and The Mark II Forum. the engine has been recently rebuilt. It runs
nicely with good compression. the transmission shifts through all gears on the car lift and the rear end is quiet with Power Lock working. The brakes were recently relined with good pedal feel. Rebuilt Carburetor. Starter. Driveline and Generator.
When purchased. I was told everything was there to put car back together. I cannot verify everything is included but there is a trunk and interior full of trim. factory service manuals. window motors.
air compressor. p/s parts and many other parts. I do know that the A/C condenser. transmission cooler. horns. under hood steel lines. transmission mounts. front hood ornament and left side hood chrome trim are missing. The wiring that is visible needs work. All the glass is good except for both the main door glass is cracked. The interior needs complete upholstery. headliner and carpeting.
Search the internet with
VIN number for
history of this car. It will need a lot of assembly. but can be a great car when completed. Bid accordingly as I have a low and reasonable reserve. The car is in Las Vegas. NV for viewing.
