The Gallardo was manufactured by Lamborghini from 2003 to 2013
and is their best-selling model with 14. 22 being built throughout
its lifetime. On 25th November 2013. the last Gallardo rolled off
of the production line. The first generation Gallardo came with a
4961cc. V10 engine and offered two choices of transmission. a
conventional six-speed manual transmission and an advanced
six-speed electro-hydraulically controlled. semi-automatic. which
Lamborghini abbreviates to 'E-Gear'. This allows the driver to make
gear changes much faster than they could with a manual
transmission. The driver shifts up and down via paddles behind the
steering wheel but can also change to an automatic model. The
spyder model of the Gallardo was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto
Show in January 2006. the soft-top being fully retractable.

Yellow Gallardo's have been 'temporary' police cars for the
Metropolitan Police in London. one in 2005 and one in 2006. for
specific publicity events. The 2006 vehicle was seen at the start
of the Gumball Rally. Both vehicles were loaned by Lamborghini
London and were fitted with yellow and blue 'battenburg' markings. br/>police logos and a small blue light-bar.

This example has had one former keeper and has only covered
10. 83 miles from new. The vendor is a car enthusiast and has
lovingly cared for this outstanding example. The green coachwork is
in unmarked order as is the two-tone leather trim. Our test drive
confirmed everything is working as it should and the hood mechanism
is faultless in its operation. The semi-automatic gearbox offers
the driver the option of driving her in automatic mode or as a
'manual'. The car is supplied with a V5 registration document and a
current MoT test certificate. together with the original service
books. Aesthetically this Lamborghini is delightful; however. to
drive this car would best be described as
'breathtaking'.
