One of just 81 examples produced make this a very rare car highly eligible for a plethora of historic motorsport events. The car comes with a F. I. V. A. passport required for such events.

The car underwent a major restoration in the late 1990's by marque specialists Ecurie Bertelli. Since then the car has seen regular light use & has been looked after absolutely without regard to expense as a further Euros 50. 00 of bills attests. The car is thus in super running order & ready for rallies. events or simply extended european touring.

Finished in Black the paint is in fine order throughout & is complimented by silver wire wheels; the brake drums also being painted to the same silver colour. The hood albeit little used in the up position is like new from highest quality mohair & comes with a full set of side screens for inclement motoring.

To the interior is deep blue leather in excellent order throughout to both the front & the rear seats. The wooden dash contains the usual set of requisite instruments including large speedometer/Tachometer & has an additional Haldex trip meter for competition use. Twin spare wheels are fitted to the rear of the car.

Under the bonnet the 1. 5 litre engine is detailed to show standards & is a credit to the last owner. The dry sump engine starts instantly & is very powerful allowing for a serious turn of speed from such an early car. An auxiliary fan is fitted behind the radiator. The best part of these early Aston Martins is their lightness. making them very wieldy allowing one to miss curbs by mere inches; indeed the harder one drives such a car the more it makes sense & comes into its own.

The driving experience is slightly unconventional with a centre throttle & gear box arranged in reverse from the order one might more commonly expect. The idiosyncrasies are easily mastered however & make for a pleasant drive once learned.
