1960 Chevrolet Convertible Red Corvette Roadster

I am pleased to offer this nicely cared for 1960 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster. This is a great opportunity to own an original American Sports Car!! New reduced price well below assessed value.

This Vette is a perfect way to enter the Club because not only does it represent a performance sports car. it allows you to enjoy the many events Corvette Clubs hold all across the country.

This sports car is in very nice shape.  It runs and drives excellent.  Exterior of the car is excellent. Interior is excellent as well.  Interior and exterior restored.   It is in showroom condition and a very beautiful example of a Corvette Rodster.  This car has zero rust in the chassis or windshield frame. This is a great car and is like new.

The drive quality of this Corvette puts a smile on your face.  Only driven an average of 350 miles a year!

Stunning Roman red (white coves) red interior 1960 Corvette 283 CI · 230 HP · 4-barrel carburetor · 4 speed manual · 4. 11 positraction - part number correct car with matching dates corresponding to appropriate build month and year of vehicle. Meticulous frame-up restoration. Probably less than 1. 00 miles on re-built engine and transmission. Hardtop only. "Wonderbar" Radio & Heater.

4-Speed Manual Transmission (685) - was an optional four-speed. close ratio. syncromesh manual transmission.  A "limited slip" rear axle that engages  both rear wheels as drive wheels. Of the total 5. 31 Corvettes built with this option 3. 26 had a 4. 11:1 ratio.

This C1 was restored little by little over an extended period of time beginning in the late eighties;   then purchased by NCRS judge for his own use in 2006.   Stored in climate controlled facility.   $6. 81 was spent on completing the restoration in the last year (complete binder of all items purchased from Corvette Central is included).

Paint is excellent. Restorer used Dupont acrylic enamel with clear coat. There are two small blemishes ~ both not noticeable enough to photograph. Chrome was completely redone; Some parts like front window posts. front bumperettes are new. All stainless repolished. All door openings. trunk and hood fits line up very well. Recently aligned and all the suspension is new. Goes down the road real straight. Interior is mostly new ~ carpets. door panels. heater box. peddle covers. etc. Seat vinyl may be original but you wouldn't know it from signs of wear.

This is an all original car!

Title clean and in hand. Price is negotiable.
