You may have seen this sharp 1969 AMX at the AMC and Mopar show with “Big Daddy” at the Don Garlits museum or at the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona at Thanksgiving.

While I have been fortunate to own many muscle cars over the past 40 years. few have attracted the positive attention that this AMX has received. This AMX gets more “Thumbs Up” when I drive it than any other car I have owned! Period.

We originally purchased this beautiful Go-Pack 390. 4 speed. 3. 54 posi. Power Disc Brake car based on its EXCEPTIONALLY solid. Straight Body (only one panel has been replaced). with Very Nice Paint. Re-Chromed Bumpers and Stout Drive Train. This AMX had been a “garage queen” for many years since it had its only repaint and seldom driven before I purchase it.

Since I actually drive my cars. some items needed attention for reliability. So we installed or replaced the following while keeping the AMX as stock as possible:

-New Cragar brand Magnum 500's. 15 x 7 wheels

-New BFG 245/60/15's Rear and 225/60/15's Front

-Remanufactured factory Bendix 4 piston calipers. Stainless steel sleeved

by “Master Power Brakes”

-Inline Tube brand brake Hard lines and Stainless steel braided soft lines.

-New not rebuilt Raybestos Master Cylinder

-New rear brake drums and all related brake hardware

-New rear HD Springs/Shocks from ESOP including the special two step bolts

-New Front Suspension with all parts from Kennedy American

-New. not rebuilt Steering box

-New Factory style and color Seat and Shoulder belts

-Remanufactured Electric Wiper Motor by an AMX specialist

-Remanufactured Alternator by Kenny Rupp (true craftsman. no China stuff)

-Remanufactured Starter also by Kenny Rupp

-New gas tank sending unit

-New electrical switches based on availability. such as NAPA starter solenoid

-New ACC carpet

-New Heater Core

-4-speed and 3. 54 rear end flushed and new quality lube installed

Please note that in several of the pictures. I have tried to give you a sense of how solid the body is…particularly the photo of the Floor Pans before carpet. and the Torque Boxes on the Underside.

Likewise I have included a photo of an AMX sport wheel that goes with the car.

The original “wood” wheel is on the car.

Also included in the sale is a very complete Smog assembly with the very difficult to find brackets.

The car is located in the Daytona Beach. Florida area and the car can be seen on most days. I would be please to pick you up at the Orlando or Daytona Beach airport.
