You are bidding on a very original untouched FJ 40.
This cruiser has spent most of it's life in northern Nevada.
It is the perfect candidate for a full restoration.
The cruiser had been parked for over 15 years and was outside uncovered so rust is in the usual places.
The floors only have surface rust in a couple spots. no cancer (see pictures)
It has the original motor as well as drive train.
The interior is decent but seats should be recovered as well as new door cards. headliner. dash cover.
I do have the original vinyl floors in ok condition (removed for pictures).
Lights work as well as wipers and blower motor.
The exterior has never been repainted so there is no body filler.
All weather stripping is dry and needs replacement.
It is Olive brown in color.
There are a couple dents on the ambulance doors shown in pictures.
It has a Warn 8274 winch that worked when tested (a good cable is included just not shown).
Hard top is in good condition.
None of the glass is broken.
The engine just got new plugs. and a carb rebuild.
It runs good and might drip 1 drop if left parked for a couple days.
Transmission and clutch shift good and brakes lock up and work well.
It has the original manual steering and the box is leaking some (should be an easy seal).
It seems to have an aftermarket exhaust that was installed quite some time ago and sounds good.
Tail lenses need replacement and possibly a bulb or two to replace.
Mileage indicates 94. 49 but no telling if its gone around.
This cruiser overall would make a great restoration project or drive it as it is.
A $500 Deposit is required immediately and full payment within 72 hrs of auction close.
