This is a fully documented 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda VIN# BS23J0B287496.   The documentation includes: the Build Out Sheet. Service Bulletin and the ORIGINAL Window Sticker. (see photos) This Cuda Beast has undergone a high horsepower motor transplant.  It boasts a new crate 472 CID Hemi pushing over 575 HP (costing more than $20K) and is mated to a 4-Speed manual transmission with a Centerforce Clutch and a Pistol Grip Shifter.   All this horsepower and torque is put to the pavement through a 'Sure Grip' Posi Differential with a 3. 55:1 gear ratio.

The original. numbers matching 340 6-Pack motor is complete & is included with the car. along with the correct model torque flight transmission. The overall body lines. gaps and fit and finish are average & the car was said to have had a medium grade restoration about 12 years ago. Exterior is finished in the correct Blue Fire Metallic with a Black Vinyl Top all wrapped around the Black High Back Bucket seat interior.

I recently purchased this car from a dealer back east. to be my Hemi CUDA daily driver as a nostalgia ride as I am getting older. But when the car was actually delivered. I realized just how rare and valuable this particular AAR CUDA really is. and that there was no way I was going to take a chance on it being in an accident. (original. properly restored & documented AAR CUDAs are now bringing $150K-$300K+ at auction).

This car is 98% complete. original and ready for professional restoration. and you get a virtually new $20. 00. 00 HEMI crate motor. with 4-speed tranny as a bonus with the purchase. I put fresh gas in the car when it arrived; it starts and runs fine. but I think the single 4-bbl carburetor needs a rebuild from sitting so long. (secondary's don't seem to be opening) the 472 CID Hemi engine itself looks and runs like brand new. oil is super clean. no smoke or evidence of blow-by of any kind. Front-end could use some alignment. along with a new set of shocks.

Steering is tight. brakes work well. no noise from the rear end that I am able to hear. all dash gauges seem to work properly. Slight tear in the upholstery of the rear seat. & a few minor paint bubbles around the edge of the vinyl top trim piece and on the left rear lower quarter panel.

Some minor surface rust is evident only under the matt inside the trunk. Underside of the car appears to have been undercoated in black some years ago. possibly when sold as new. In summary. not really much else to say. this car is a “real” AAR CUDA. ready to be restored back to its original heritage. as one of the coolest American muscle cars ever built.

The miles on the odometer reads 36. 87. I do not know if they are actual or not.
