The copious history folder with the car proclaims his name to be William no less then three fully filled ring binders come with the car minutely detailing its history for the last few decades & also containing illuminating correspondence between previous owners. The car went through a Brooks auction about 16 years ago & it was stated at that time that the car came with £48 k of recent bills. I have not added up the bills since then but suffice to say they are numerous large & a credit to the fastidious last owner. Indeed this car has probably the best history file of any car I have ever handled.

The car is finished in masons Black with the paint being in lovely order throughout. The body is a spacious non division sports saloon by Thrupp & Maberly exhibiting particularly pleasing proportions. To the interior is grey Connolly hide throughout complimented by dark blue carpets. The woodwork has been removed & refinished to a lovely satin glow by a specialist firm of Piano refinishers. A large sunroof allows for semi open motoring augmented by an opening hinged windscreen. The car sports twin trumpet horns. a spot lamp & twin driving lamps making for a very imposing frontal aspect.

A complete engine rebuild has been undertaken during the current 15 year ownership. The original date stamped pistons come in a box of spares with the car. As a result the engine runs beautifully pulling very strongly & effortlessly holding station in modern traffic. The under bonnet area is clean. tidy & well detailed. The all important new head has also been fitted.

This is a car needing nothing & for which no excuses need to be made. I cannot over emphasize how well it drives & beautifully it has been maintained. It is a car you have to drive & ride in to appreciate.
