This is a WCM Ultralite Flyer also known as a Lotus Super 7. This handmade WCM Ultralite is number 1 of only 85 made at the Texas factory by the well known creator and designer Brian Anderson.   This is the one that made all of the auto magazines when it first came out in 2001. I have included one of the magazine articles in the picture section for your review.

It is a USA manufactured based best of breed Super 7 that can accommodate someone who is as tall as 6'5" and 250lbs down to 5' tall 90 lbs with a fully adjustable peddle assembly that rides on a 12" long track . All aluminum Kirkey racing seats are currently 17" wide but the chassis allows the owner to install two 19" wide seats. I am 6'1" and 210 and it fits me like a glove. Removable and washable cloth covers with foam bolsters. The removable Steering wheel has a quick release latch for ease of entry. exit or theft prevention.

This car really fly's. 0 to 60mph in 3. 9 seconds. and corners like you can only experience in a formula car. This Ultralite is only 1079 lbs and it brakes from 60 mph to 0 in 100 feet. just like a F1 car.

The kicker for California residents is that it is registered and licensed in California as a 1966 Lotus which equates to no smog and low insurance premiums.   I am paying $265 a year. For exporting do to its registered date of 1966 import cost are a tenth of the price.

The Chassis is a Space frame design with an aluminum and fiberglass body.   The entire bonnet opens on a hinge at the front just like an XKE to allow ease of maintenance.   This is one of the funniest cars to drive even at 30 mph. Everyone smiles when they see it.   And yet it is extremely well built and designed for around town or if desired extreme canyon carving that can harass the best motorcycles or Porsches. It is extremely comfortable on the freeway and runs on regular pump gas. For safety it has an aluminum fuel cell and five point seat belts to hold you in when you are flying down the road. Two Brookland shields keep the bugs out of you and your passengers teeth.

A lovely all aluminum Crate engine and head producing around 170 hp from Jasper Engineering that incorporates a Bullfrog fully ported and polished head with a handmade 4. 5 quart wet sump with only 5325 miles on it. An RX7 5 speed transmission. Fidanza aluminum flywheel. Dual DCOE 45/152 Webers carburetors. Handmade ceramic coated headers and exhaust sounds great. Hemispherical joints are every where to keep the suspensions aligned and straight. Aluminum fully adjustable gas shocks with coil springs at each corner gives one a great ride. RX7 Turbo LSD differential keeps the traction accurate and positive. Everywhere you look there is special this and handmade that on the car. I love the machine turned dash and the well chosen mag wheels. All in all it is just a well built entertaining car to drive or to just look at.   And this little happy car has only has 5325 miles on it since new.

A recently completed service has been carried out with new oil. filters. belts. plugs. new rebuilt gas shocks. digital turn signal in front and also in the side view mirrors. 7" headlights. etc. California VIN number is L668420 not the 17 digit one shown in this listing as required by ebay.

With only 85 made in the USA these WCM Ultralites don't come up  for sale often so do yourself a favor and just Buy it Now. It is fairly priced at $24500. You will thank me latter.   Do your research and you will find like I did that these are the best bang for the buck Super 7's you can buy. I love em so much I have two. which is why this one has become available.

Listed locally for sale in Silicon Valley and down in LA through CL.

Ask me any and all questions you might have.   And only offer what you can and are willing to pay.

BIDDERS PLEASE READ:   To date I have received 8 generous offers for the car. All offers are seriously considered and I treat first in offers with first out counters. CASH is preferred. wire transfer is accepted but note that this vehicle will not be released until all monies are in my account.   Images Note: In the ebay listing under the PICTURE section there are five historic images fist and last images. with recent shots. of my car posted that were taken by the builder. Brian Anderson. when he was attempting to market the Ultralite concept to potential Distributors. Resellers and Dealers. I have posted them so one can see how my car evolved. The first and last shots being some of the older images.   The VIN # L668420 of my car is only 7 digits. located on the frame next to ceramic coated header on the drivers side. This Vin # is also on the California Title. This is common for 1960's cars. I also have added two riveted real Lotus engine/body plates with the VIN # and date.   Update note: Today I am going to install two new rear shocks. with new heavier springs and new bump stop guards. I am going to install a shift knob with the shift pattern and remove the brackets that held the fire extinguishers which were below use date.   A lot of folks keep asking about the engine. It is a Jasper Crate all aluminum engine that started as a Saturn 1. 9 ltr DOHC engine. I have posted the last page of the magazine article on this listing under the Picture section which describes in detail the engine used and what changes were done to it.

RELISTED do to the winning ebay bidder macperson2010 not following through with the deposit upon close of auction and then a no show today to pay for this wonderful WCM Ultralite Flyer.
