A beautiful 1942 Dodge 3/4 ton pick up truck. This truck spent most of its life as a N. C. fire dept. truck so it was always garage kept and driven very little. It is as solid and rust free as you will find. Approx 15 years ago this truck was purchased by a gentleman in Charlotte N. C. It was completely disassembled and went through a no expense spared full frame off restoration back to original.
This truck still has its original 6 cylinder motor and 3 speed transmission. There were a few upgrades that were done to this truck during restoration to make it more enjoyable for today. It was upgraded to a 12 volt system. radial tires were added. along with a digital speedometer and a rear end upgrade with taller gears so this truck could be enjoyed on the highway. It will now run 65-70 mph comfortably.
Everything on this trucks works properly and it runs and drives incredible and has NO mechanical problems!!
