Fully restored 1954 Chevrolet Corvette. Polo White / Red. Tan soft top. date-code correct "Blue Flame" inline-six engine. Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission. 318th Corvette produced in 1954. This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette is a fully restored example of the second year for Corvette Production. This very early-production Corvette has been owned by the same enthusiast owner for nearly two decades. and it underwent a labor-of-love frame-off restoration that was completed in 2010. A Polo White auxiliary hardtop is included with the car. in unrestored condition. After a markedly small production volume of just 300 units built in 1953. Corvette production went into full swing in 1954 with over 3. 40 rolling off the assembly line that year. This Corvette. serial #E54S001318. is a very early production example. just the 318th Corvette built in 1954. This example also retains a date-code correct 235ci "Blue Flame" inline-six engine and two-speed Powerglide transmission that have been restored to factory condition. Completed in 2010. this Corvette's restoration was a full frame-off job that ultimately covered four years of work. Every possible detail was considered during the restoration. with 1954 Corvette judging guides providing direction. The car is presented in like-new condition in Polo white over a Red vinyl interior with a tan soft top. All off the chrome and brightwork have been replated. repolished or replaced. and the interior features new vinyl upholstery and red carpeting. The car rides on correct polished wheels with Firestone wide white wall tires. Included with the car is the aforementioned auxiliary hardtop. as well as Corvette judging guides and close to 100 restoration photos. Early first generation Corvettes with the "Blue Flame" straight-six engines have become very collectable and hold value extremely well. This very early 1954 production example is a solid investment opportunity that will only appreciate in value as time marches on.
