Offered for action is a 1968 911 RSR tribute or clone car. I really do not know about about the car but will will try my best to accurately to describe it. I bought the car this summer to build a track car but lost interest and the money to complete it. It is a 1968 911 with a fiberglass RSR body kit on it that was done a long time ago. It has fiberglass rsr fenders and bumpers. a killer 1979 911sc 3. 0 motor. with 1969 911 E mechanical fuel injection and a 915/61 transmission. The motor runs great. i have a video of it running i can send you. its motor vin number is 6583005. It is a project because it needs a front left strut( you can see it leaning in the pictures) and the 915 transmission is stuck in 3rd gear. It also has a hooky suspension pan repair of sorts. but the previous owner told me it passed Pennsylvania's strict inspection last year. I got the car with no interior. so I installed a light weight rsr carpet kit and rs door panels. Looks pretty nice inside. It was originally Polo red but now is painted black. The paint looks amazing from ten foot away. But up close. not so much. It's glossy and shiny but is a amateur paint job. far from perfect. Lots of imperfections. but like I said I wanted the car as a track car so the paint didn't really matter to me. Besides the front suspension pan repair the car and pan is pretty much rust free. the jack points and torsion tube areas are in great shape. I paid for a set of four new Kumho tires. 245 50 16's on the rear and 225 50 16's on the front on ronal rims. On the way home I hit a pot hole. the car would not down shift. i held in the clutch and coasted to a stop and was stranded. The trans was stuck in gear. Third gear I believe. I don't have the money to pay to fix it so its offered here for sale. With a little tlc this car would be a killer track car or just a beast of a daily driver. Or with the prices of early long hoods skyrocketing could be restored back to a 1968 911. Please look at the pictures. Ebay only allows 24 pictures and I have a ton more I can send you. And can take more to send. If you would like to see anything specific just ask. I welcome over seas buyers and can help finding shipping overseas for the winning bidder. Car will need to be towed or transported. $500 deposit due at auction end with the balance to be paid in 72 hours of auction end. Thanks and good luck.
