This is hands down the nicest 1974 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser that I have EVER seen ANYWHERE. and as and as you can see in the pictures it is BEAUTIFUL! Careful to not let this one of a kind 1974 FJ40 get away! The price on this FJ40 is not cheap but the best never is. This BEAUTY has only 500 MILES since an EVERY nut and bolt restoration! Take a look at this beauty. what an amazing looking 1974 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. This Show Winning Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser is one nice driving rig and it is in show winning condition. The 1974 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser was the Gold standard of 4X4 SUVs on and off road and after 40 years it still is. and the 1974 is the year to have!

 

This is a DRY - SOLID – Western Jeep all its life. This 1974 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser has new 350/290 HP Deluxe GM Crate Engine that has four-bolt mains. It also includes a smooth hydraulic camshaft and durable aluminum pistons that deliver an 8. 0:1 compression ratio. in it. and it is running VERY well. I has all the goodies like Edelbrock 4-barrel carb. ceramic coated headders and new 100 AMP alternator. Sounds good too with the dual Flowmaster exhaust system. The engine is backed by a new 700R-4 four speed overdrive automatic transmission built to handle 400+ HP. the Advanced Adapters transfer case for the 700R that was rated for 450 HP along with their shift kit. with Hi / Lo 4WD that is also new. The all New Custom interior is VERY NICE and has all the modern amenities you would expect with a High-end build like this one. Nice Custom rear bucket seats that fold flat and tumble up out of the way like the newest SUV seats do. NICE original dash painted to match the rest of the body. NICE new custom dash pad. NICE original gauge cluster all working. NICE new sun visors and headliner. A sound deadening headliner was installed with 3/8 foam insulation pad added to the headliner for added sound control. NICE original door panels all restored and a nice Lecarra Leather wrapped steering wheel. nice new custom carpet and floor mats. The FJ40 an awesome Pioneer Super-tuner AM/FM/CD/MP3/USB digital stereo with IPOD hook-up and remote control and it sounds Awesome with the Pioneer 6X9 3-way speaker system. This Jeep is nicely equipped including upgraded Advanced Adapters power steering kit with a Saginaw steering box. Converted to front disk brakes using FJ 60 outers with rebuilt calipers. new wheels bearings and rotors. braided stainless steel brake lines. locking hubs. and Birfield joints . restored factory gauge package. original restored dual folding exterior mirrors. Moved the firewall concave ahead 2 inches to accommodate the installation of the Vintage air conditioning unit under the dash. good heater and defroster and custom 3- Point seat belts. This FJ40 is a great running and wonderful looking rig. it drives Amazing. if you have ever driven a stock FJ40 you will appreciate what an engineering marvel it is to have one that drives like this one on and off road and on the Freeway. The springs were re-arched to give it the perfect stance. all the suspension components are new and the Skyjacker Hydro shocks that are designed to adjust automatically to any on or off-road condition. They feature hydraulic-action. twin-tube construction and multi-stage. velocity-sensitive valving. The original gas tank under the passenger seat was removed and replaced with a 22 gallon tank mounted behind the rear wheels with a 16 gauge skid plate. This 1974 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser has sharp looks and TONS of Power as well! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. EVERYTHING ON THIS FJ40 IS NEW OR REBUILT.

 

This Jeep is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right! This vehicle is in SHOW condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a clean example of a hard to find Custom show FJ40. If you have been looking but cannot find a nice FJ40 worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one! The Custom Chrysler “Copperhead” metallic finish on this vehicle is SHOW-WINNING BEAUTIFUL and looks GREAT as you can see in the pictures above and below! The undercarriage is undercoated. primer and painted in critical areas to prevent rust. The new custom front bumper is nice as is the custom rear bumper and hitch. Check out the NICE new Black steel wheels and Warn locking hubs with New L285 75r 16 BF Goodrich A/T steel-belted radial tires boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this Jeep!! The rear doors converted from the 3 door unit stock on 1974 Toyotas to an ambulance door configuration used on later models. It also has a fixed tailgate that can be installed to replace the ambulance doors for use when the top is removed. This vehicle is in new mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. The vehicle is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and also included photos below. You could eat off the undercarriage.
