Dodge : Polara Custom

This kind of breaks my heart.  I'll describe this car the best I can.  The car isn't perfect. but it's mechanically in very good condition.  
Sedans aren't the most desirable. unless you are looking at this one.

This car collected several trophy's at shows.  It is not a derby car.  

Up for sale is a one of a kind 72 Dodge Polara Very Custom sedan  At one time. it was the only one of it's kind.  I could go on for hours about everything that was done.  It got a frame off 8 years ago.  It was nicknamed Polaraco because it is a Polara front and a Monaco interior and rear bumper.
The entire suspension. steering . rakes and drive train were zeroed out.  Everything got rebuilt and rust proofed.
It features a Fuel Injected 5. 9 Magnum engine. 518 Over Drive Transmission.  3. 23 Sure Grip rear.  The biggest modification of the car is the 76 Newport dash.  The engine has about 15. 00 miles on it.  The engine is a true 5. 9 liter Magnum.  It was brand new. but needed work when I got it.  I installed 10:1 dome pistons. roller rockers as well as the stock roller cam. and a  Torque Cam from Hughes.  The intake is a Hughes air gap with an adapter for the throttle body.   The heads are street ported.  The fuel injection is from a 1994 Ram. the transmission is computer controlled.  The car has Catalytic Converters.  Custom dual X pipe exhaust.  It's not the fastest thing around. but it will pull down a house.  It never shifts out of OD when climbing steep hills.
The body is almost 100% rust free.  A couple of spots have showed up since the last harsh winter.  See pictures.  It's all outside/in rust.  The car got a frame off 8 years ago and carefully put back together with premium parts.  The interior was completely redone  with Monaco 50/50 power bench seats  I have plenty of pictures of the car when it was done.
I got pretty sick when the dash install was about 90% done.  There's a few electrical glitches which should be attended too.  One is the circuit board for the gauges needs to be repaired.  The temp and fuel gauge suddenly stopped working.
The floors. quarter panels. rear window area. have all been repaired.  But it does have a rust through in the trunk lip.  An easy fix.  It needs some minor paint work.
It runs like a champ. starts every time.  I used to drive this every day everywhere.  Believe it or not. it averaged 18 MPG around town.
It has a few innovations.  Delay wipers. center control console. power windows. Custom one piece head liner. lots of interior lighting.
It really needs a good cleaning. and a new carpet. and as mentioned. some minor wiring.

Buyer is responsible for shipping.  I will accommodate as much as I can.  The car is sold AS IS.  I will be continuing to assemble some minor items as I can.
They said they were going to bury me in this car. It's a special car.  It's not made to sit around.
You need to ask questions. While it may be a sedan. it is tight. quiet and is very agile on the road.
