Boss 302

1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 “W-code”. Grabber Green muscle car.   As per the Marti report ( I am happy to e-mail a copy to you) . this car came from the factory equipped as follows:

302 4V Boss Engine

Grabber Green Paint

Black Rhino Seats

4. 30 Locking Rear Axle (W-Code)

4-speed Close Ratio trans

Rear Deck Spoiler

Power Steering

AM Radio

Tinted Glass

Tachometer

You can clearly see that the car is no longer Grabber Green. but traces of the original paint can be found in the trunk. under the carpet. and overspray on the frame rails.   The interior color has also been changed to red seats.   The seats are in good shape. but better in black in my opinion.

Here is a list of things that are not correct to this car or missing:

Engine (has a standard 1973 302 motor that runs)

Bell housing (D2OA)

Transmission (has a 1969 RUG-E3 Wide ratio and 69 shift box/shifter)

Rear end chunk (C2AW. non-Daytona pinion. 28 spline). span >  Axles 28 spline

Rear sway bar- missing

Export Brace. Radiator. Alternator

Radiator support and battery apron (appear to have been replaced. maybe light accident)

Trunk braces inside by wheel wells (some have been removed. maybe to create more space for beer?)

Mach-1 rear panel (covers up dent in original panel). pop open  gas cap. Rear Valence

No speedo reducer

AM-FM radio

Headliner has a few mouse holes- too bad. it was actually nice

No Rev limiter

Wheels

I have been able to identify parts that I believe to be correct and most likely original to the car to include:

Rear Deck Spoiler- DOZB cast

Rear Staggered Shocks. brackets. and assembly

Rear axle housing with correct vent hole and brake line hole locations

Sun-x Glass with the correct date codes

Power Steering Pump- HBA-CC. Pulley DOOR-B. bracket DOAA-3C511G

Power steering Box. SMB-K. 9M01B

Fan DOZE-B. Fan Pulley C9OE-8509-G. 3 grove correct looking Crank Pulley (# not located)

Top alternator bracket

15/16 front sway bar. correct front disc brakes. DOOA brake distribution block

Wrap around shock towers

Front rolled fenders DOZZ 16006 13 and DOZZ 16005 13. inner splash shields DOZB 16B 568A

Correct brake booster and Bendix master (black paint over anodized)

One correct Alternator bracket-

Tach cluster (tach actually works)

Door warranty tag over Green paint- Both doors appear to be original

Dash tag. all matching good title in my name

Rear Quarters. wheel wells. drop downs are original and appear good

Door panels. carpet. interior quarter panels. steering wheel. Nice dash pad. majority of standard interior.

This car runs and drives. but I would not consider it road worthy as it has been in storage for the last 20 years.   Overall. the car is pretty solid as the pictures show.   There are a few small areas of rust through in the corner of the rear floor pans.   The trunk lid has some bubbles. and some rust popping on the fender aprons.   The older. red paint is fair.   Frame rails. rockers. trunk floors all solid and straight

This is a legitimate Boss 302 that came in factory Grabber Green. with a desirable “W-Code” 4. 30 Rear.   The VIN numbers match the good Wisconsin title in my name.  

I am listing this car in a manner that I believe to be helpful to you as a bidder:

NO RESERVE- will sell to the highest bidder.  

This is a real auction; it will go to the hammer.   The car is not for sale locally or otherwise.

7 DAY Auction- allows time for you to do your homework + 1 weekend available to inspect.
