1950 Oldsmobile Deluxe 88 Holiday Coupe .

This is the car that started the Muscle Car era with NASCAR & drag strip winsin the 50's.

We started with a rust free. dent free California exterior shell.

We had one of the best custom restoration shops in the West do the work.

We shaved the hood. trunk and door handle. We stripped the entire suspension components front to rear.

Keeping this car PURE OLDS. we installed a completely rebuilt Oldsmobile 350 cu. in. bored 30 over. a “Edelbrock” intake and “Edelbrock” 650 carb. finned” MT” alum. valve covers. HEI distributor. duals. chrome alternator & “Classic Air” AC compressor & Heater . GM turbo 200 R 4 rebuilt 4 speed over drive tranny linked up to a GM Posi rear end.

Custom “Cool It” alum. radiator.

A “Fat Man” sub frame w/rack & pinion power front disc brakes with 4 bar rear coil over suspension.

The original body shell was maintained adding electric doors. electric windows. electric bucket seats. custom full leather & vinyl interior. Custom dash w/ “Dolphin” gauges w/tack & a custom built center console w/ Tranny shifter & “Sony” Stereo.

A billet tilt “ Ididit” tilt steering column. $20. 00+ Eye Potting Custom “House of Kolor” “Brandywine” w/gold flake paint.

A custom aluminum gas tank.

Re-chromed grill. front & rear bumpers.

We used original re-chromed tail lights & stainless trim. A fully carpeted trunk w/Optima 12 V battery & fuse box.

“ Boyd Coddington Junk Yard” chrome replica wheels w/ B. F. Goodrich tires.

All new side tinted glass. Frenched headlights. Frenched electric radio antenna.

Smoothed the firewall and installed custom inter fenders.

Inside window frames are wrapped w/vinyl & leather. Car has only 1600 miles.

Car is located in Mesa. AZ.

This car cost over 6 figures to build and its a 6 figure car at Barret-Jackson Auction.

I will not be here in January for the Barret-Jackson auction.

Car has been winning “Best of Show” & “Best Classic” awards.
