1962 Buick Special "Buwicked"


Car lives in a private collection in Arizona purchased from the original builders/owners from Oregon. Car is absolutely spectacular and built to compete against the best car builders in 2003 like Troy and Chip. Cost were in excess of $300. 00 to build. Built by the late Ryan Butler. car placed top 5 finalist Good guys street machine of the year. Featured in several magazines as well as Sony's playstation's Gran Tourismo IV video game.

Engine: 1973 Buick 455. TA performance stage 2 aluminum heads. Hydraulic cam. shaft rockers. orged rods. E pistons. F-1 procharger. Custom intake. water pump. headers. exhaust. mounts. rackets. etc. etc. etc.
Engine dyno'd at 705HP crank. 555HP at the tires. This is by far the baddest sounding Buick motor and pulls like a beast. No disappointments.

Transmission: Richmond 6 speed. McCloud bell housing. twin disk clutch. Kugel brake/clutch pedals

Rear: Fabricated housing by Scribner welding. 9" 3rd member with Eaton trac-lok. Moser 31 spline axles. QA1 coil overs. 4 link. All quality parts

Brakes: Baer Pro+ 13. 5" rotors. Alcon calipers all around

Wheels: Budnik 17x8 front. 17x11 rear with Michelin pilots 235/40 front. 335/35 rear!!!

Chassis: Art Morrison rails jig built with custom cages and features throughout

Body: Extensive modifications however extremely subtle.   Body and paint are flawless and car can be shown as is. Paint is PPG Lexus Jade Mica and Pearl with PPG Concept clear

Interior: Full leather with Suede headliner. Alpine sound system. Vintage A/C

As I mentioned. this list briefly describes this extensive build available for a third of the build cost. You want to win awards and stand out from the rest of the crowd then take a long hard look at this car. My boss is only selling to downsize the collection a little. There is no distress so please do not low ball. If you know what it takes to build something to this level then you will appreciate the price. no commissions or taxes to pay.
