Had to look good be reliable and drive very nice in town and on the road ways. It's is all of that and more. It was also built with all the high end off road options = If going off road. camping. hunting. hiking or just 4 wheeling.  In my option it's the best Classic 4 wheel drive of both worlds  (ON and OFF ROAD  ). This FJ is rust free and has a laser straight body with one month new fresh paint. Paint has been color sanded and buffed to a wet gloss finish  ( No orange peal in paint ) One of the nicest looking FJ you will ever see driving the road ways. FJ is detailed top to bottom front to rear  = SEE PHOTO's. The inside was gutted and all floor pans re-finished in raptor armor to keep it nice for many years to come. The bottom side frame and running gear look nicer than most FJ for sure. The bottom side pans also look very nice. no funky patch work like most = SEE PHOTO's.  It's a great looking classic FJ and will turn every head in town. driving in it or just parked on the street. FJ is powered by a very nice running Chevy 350 cubic inch V8 motor fitted with 4 bbl carb under the hood. Motor has more power and performance than most could ever use or need.  Motor runs outstanding no issues! Motor is backed with a nice shifting Heavy Duty GM Turbo "400 Automatic Transmission" great transmission on and off road. FJ also fitted with Power Steering and 4 wheel Power disc brakes. make's it fun and easy to drive in town and on the open roads.  FJ has new painless wiring and is very reliable. turn key show and go!  Hard top and hard doors remove for open air nice weather driving. It also has a bikini top to cover both front and rear passengers.  Hard top and doors fit great. the hard top cap was also finished in black raptor armor to accent the red paint color. The heater and wipers work great so this FJ can be driven year round winter and summer. So in a nut shell it is a super nice looking and driving classic Toyota FJ 40 for in town and out of town driving.   ***** ( Now we move to the 4 wheel drive and off road options )  FJ will 4 wheel with the best of the best. if that your thing!  FJ fitted with all the high end off road options. making it the perfect camping. hunting or off road vehicle.  FJ has a 3 inch lift  with "Spring Over" for better ground clearance and body stance. Also fitted with  "High Steer" all steering parts and tie rods moved up and out of the way for better ground clearance. The HD Toyota Front end was also fitted with an ARB "air locker" for better traction when off road if ever needed. The HD Toyota Rear End was also fitted with floating "lock rite" rear end locker.  35 inch tires mounted on 15 inch blacked out rims sit under it. Tires 12. 5 wide = Do the math that's over 4 feet of tire rubber on the ground for grip and traction. A lot of questions. will cover for all to see. Question - how good of a reliable daily driver is it ?  I just drove this FJ on a 6 hour road trip -  65 MPH at 2. 00 rpms and it ran perfect - No Issues none !  17. 5 MPG - 180 water temp and 45 lb of oil presser - don't get better than that. The v8 power and performance coupled with the turbo 400 automatic transmission make's this FJ drive the highways nicer than most for sure!  The power steering and 4 wheel disc brakes makes it a joy to drive !  Very reliable and is turn key ready and go!  Question Gas Gauge ?  Yes the gas gauge works - new gas tank and sending unit as well as gas gauge installed in restoration. How well will it 4 wheel ? Like I said in the listing this FJ is the best of both worlds unlike most. This FJ was built with the best off road parts on the market today. All fj40 will go off road. This FJ will makes it's own roads if required. The front end was up graded to ARB air locker and Longfields front chromoly axles. It also has TG inner and outer bearing up grade. A stock FJ has 27 spline axles and is weak link in all FJ with air lockers off road with stock axles!  This FJ was up graded to the longfield big 30 spline axles on front. Coupled with the ARB air locker makes it one of the strongest front ends for off road use you will ever find. Nice high end built FJ just cost more than the stock running gear FJ's  That's a 3. 00 front end upgrade over other stock FJ. You get what you pay for in off road parts and glad you did if you do go off road. The rear end was fitted with a lockright Locker that's eliminates wheel spin and drive line trauma . The combo of front end and rear end parts will let this FJ will go places others just can't ! The power winch is to pull "others out of trouble " NOT YOU !  FJ has not been in the dirt or off road after current restoration. Don't want to get it dirty !  No dents - No dings - No body damage.  Great looking Classic  FJ 40 Land Cruiser built for the best ON or OFF road driving you can through at it.
