1998 'R' Rolls Royce Silver Dawn

This is a beautiful car which we acquired from the wealthy enthusiast owner who has owned the vehicle since 2009. selling only to finance a property development project. The car has covered just 31. 00 miles and benefits from an excellent service record detailing previous services at 1000. 3069. 4392. 6081. 8417. 9939. 11984. 14148. 18417. 26279. 27355 and 29445 miles. this last service to include a full hydraulic service. In addition to the stamped service book we have an A 4 folder containing many further invoices for work carried out illustrating fastidious maintenance throughout the cars past. We also have complete build history for the car from the Rolls Royce factory and the original purchase order in the sum of £108. 42. 85. The V 5 shows 3 previous owners however the car was originally registered to the gentleman's company for his own personal use. then transferred to his own name. and upon his passing the car was registered to his widow before being purchased by the current owner. We have a letter from the gentleman's widow and photocopies of previous V 5's to substantiate this.

We travelled to Reading by Train to collect this vehicle and found it stored in a large dry storage unit together with the gentleman's other "toys". a Silver Shadow - which we are still trying to acquire. Aston Martin Vanquish. a couple of Boats mounted on trailers. a horse drawn caravan. and several other interesting vehicles including tractors and commercial vehicles. all of which are being sold to fund a property development project.

This car has never been out in the rain and the condition of the car is really quite exemplary with no visible marks on the bodywork at all. a real credit to it's owner. Likewise the interior is quite simply as new. genuinely looking as though it has never been sat in. The drive home was a total joy. the car performing beautifully and everything working exactly as it should. this definitely ranks among the best examples you are ever likely to see.

Finished in stunning Peacock Blue Mica with Sandstone fine lines. the interior is trimmed in Sandstone hide with Fawn Marvellon hide roof lining. Royal Blue top roll. Sandstone knee roll complimented with dark blue carpets which are protected by dark blue Lambswool over rugs. The rear compartment is further enhanced by rear vanity mirrors.

Specification of the period to include dual zone climate control air conditioning. electric seats. heated seats with two settings. cruise control. original Alpine stereo with CD changer. central locking. alarm. immobiliser. electric windows. electric mirrors. headlamp washers. trip and fuel computer. driver and passenger air bags. 16 inch alloy wheels with matching Avon CR 227 tyres all round. all quite fresh.

Supplied with all original keys. original book pack containing owners manuals. stamped service book. original tool kit all present and correct etc.

The car has just passed it's MOT with no advisories and will be fully prepared upon sale. Interesting part exchange considered.

The Silver Dawn is quite a rare and very desirable model and as a 1998 this is among the last "proper" Rolls Royce motor cars built at Crewe. The car is exceptional throughout and will be very difficult to replace.
