Selling my 1976 Pontiac Trans Am . rd owner

This car sat under a car port for years before I bought the car.

Numbers matching engine . riginal posi read end and transmission (I have not verified the transmission to be numbers matching).

The odometer reads under 100 thousand miles and I believe it because when I bought the car and changed the fuel pump and starter the parts I took off were the factory original parts. These parts go with the car.

The car idles fine but dies after I start to drive the car. The transmission engages into the forward and reverse and moves a little (like 6 yards then dies}. This is why I know the motor and transmission are both good. Also the engine was tuned up with new plugs cap rotor.

When the car starts it does not blow clouds of smoke. The engine does not make strange noises. I feel very strongly that the engine and transmission will be good for years to come. The car needs a carb . nd its not getting fuel for some reason . I think the fuel pump I replace was defective . The car comes with a new fuel pump.

Recently installed a New gas tank . ew brake booster and New master cylinder. New battery . ew started and alternator.

When the car was on a lift I noticed the car still has its original exhaust system. hen inspected on the lift I  found an approximately 8x8 inch rust hole in the passenger foot well(see pictures).

There is a small rust spot on the inner trunk lid. The spots on the car that are black on the white paint is where there was surface rust . o I put POR 15 on and catalyzed the rust. This rust was surface rust which was not deep into the metal. It is light rust that was taken care of.

Inside the engine compartment the battery try was rusted . removed it and found no other rust around or on the inner fender. the battery tray was all that was bad . I put a new one in and a new battery.

This car was a red white and blue bicentennial model . blue bird . hite paint . ed interior. The black rear window louvers do not go with the car.

Buyer to pay to transport the car. . Any questions Rick 360 798 1221 I'm selling the car because I'm not going to be able to keep it inside for a few months while we build our shop.
