Pitcher's A 1 Automotive Inc - 2565 Route 66 Chatham . NY 12037 - About Here we have a 1948 Lincoln Continental convertable. This car has been in storage since 1960. This is a 1 family owned car since new. The car was parked in the barn back in 1960 after the engine lost oil pressure and seized wile driving down a country road from what the son of the original owner recalls. After a long stay in the barn the car was moved to the sons house where he took the engine apart and tried to free it up with no luck. I recently purchased the car to make a street rod out of but decided it should really be restored back to original condition as its in a lot better condition than I thought.

I just bought a 1948 Lincoln 4 door sedan out of a estate that has a good running engine we will be working on putting the engine in the convertable over the next week or so.

The sedan will be offered to the new owner of the convertable for 1500 with the seized engine. The main frame of this car is in great shape its a unibody. all the supports and main structure are perfect. the floors. nder the rear seat and the truck area are in great shape. the fenders and the place where they mount will need repair. The doors close perfect and are in great shape the gaps are excellent I have included pictures . Any questions or concerns call me Rob
