Sold between 1992 and 1995 the porsche 968 was the ultimate developement of the highly rated 944. It was powered by an updated version of the 944′s straight four engine now displacing 3-litres and producing 240bhp with a top speed of 157mph this car can reach 62mph in 6. 5 seconds. Features included a new VarioCam variable valve timing system. optimised induction and exhaust systems. a dual mass flywheel. a new 6 speed manual transmission replaced the old 5 speed box while brembo brakes ensured that stopping power was up to the task. This particular model was built in the Zuffenhaussen Porsche factory unlike all other Porsches which were built by Audi at the time.
