I got the car from the original owner. He bought this car new in 1974. At the time he was serving active duty military. when he got deployed to Ireland. New Zealand. Switzerland. and then Germany. The Matador was transported overseas with him. I put brand new white wall tires. changed the oil. fresh gas and a battery in it. She ran on her own right away. I let it idle for 4 hours to make sure the engine didn't have any overheating issues. knocking or pinging. This is a very solid car. There is NO rust underneath it.
