here we have a very original almost untouched 1978 olds in more than fair condition that only needs a little care and a new owner to reach it's full potential as a family car show or drive in cruiser.

power windows. ocks and seat with tilt wheel. everything works even the roller clock which keeps time!it still runs very well and to my disbelief it still has the factory plugs and gm date coded wires from 1977! still on all four spiral shocks too which you just don't see anymore. factory aluminum hood and hinges. get into the super plush and immaculate interior and pump the gas. turn the key and the 350 olds motor fires right up. put in drive and go anywhere you want in what feels like driving your living room down the road as it is so comfortable and quiet and smooth. the engine could probably benefit from a tune-up given the age of the ignition components but this car could be driven anywhere without worry as it just goes down the road nice and smooth. when called upon for extra power to pass. this 350 really moves the car along quite nicely and the four barrel carb responds well as far as driveability goes. the trans shifts with crisp authority and the car drives straight down the road with nothing to do but swallow up interstate. front calipers. pads and brake hoses are new as of this week. stops well and straight.

the interior is what sets this car apart from many like it.

it is in new condition and the carpet. headliner and visors were redone to match the condition of the seats and panels which are almost immaculate with no wear on the loose cushion pillow top regency seats. this car may need a little minor body and paint. but in my experience with cars like this the interior is where you cannot find good replacement parts or any inexpensive way to reupholster this style seat with any original type material so a little work on the outside of a car with an interior like this is a pretty easy deal for someone who wants to end up with a beautiful finished product. you could not replicate this interior for what this whole car will sell for!! as far as the body goes. the frame and floors are really nice and were factory undercoated when new and are surface rusted where the undercoat is peeling away but solid and without issue. driver door is rusted out at the bottom and you could fix it if you were ok with sheetmetal or just replace it. the other doors have surface rust and front of lower fenders do as well but the driver door is the only panel that needs more than just minor easy work. this car is not by any means a typical rotted car not worth fixing as it runs and drives like anyone wishes their classic would and will give many more years of driving pleasure as is but with some love could easily be amazing!****

vogue tires pictured could be included for additional money mounted and balanced if they do not sell in a separate listing. if you have any questions at all please call me directly. no one should ever buy a car without doing so. . david.
