1976 Fiat Spider showing 42944 miles.    I've owned this car for 4 1/2 years and the prior owner had it for 9 years and said that it came out of a collection where it had been for 17 years.    This is a fun little car on a sunny day and gets lots of attention.    The car was originally blue. as noted on the vehicle ID tag but it was red when I bought it and has a nice paint job.    There is a 1" split in the paint shown on the rear driver's side fender arch.    Since I've owned it I've had the brakes gone through and the rear suspension bushings replaced by a local import car specialist.

The good:   Fun to drive. runs well. smooth 5 speed transmission.   Runs nice and cool. nbsp;and the electric fan cycles as it should.    Nice paint. the seats are soft and have no splits in them.   All of the gauges and lights work.    The previous owner replaced the timing belt prior to my ownership.    The tires are Vredestein that have <1000 miles on them.    Its equipped with an electric fuel pump so it fires right up. even after sitting for a month or two. and its never let me down.

Known issues:  The smog pump belt was off when I bought it. I think they did that for more power.    The wood in the dash and console was replaced and noted from the prior owner I don't think they hooked up the heater controls.    I've never driven it when I felt I needed heat.     The top looks great from the outside and the window is clear but the stitching that holds the bows is place has come loose.    The radio is in place and there are speakers up front but they aren't connected and there was never an antenna drilled into the car.    There are a couple of what looks like minor hail dents only on the trunk.     You have to look hard to see them. I tried to capture them in the last photo.    There is a small oil drip from around the distributor shaft seal.    There are a few minor tears in the side panels as shown in the photos.     There is a quarter sized hole in the floor board up under the dash under the passenger floor mat.    Although hard to tell with the new black floor mats. the original dark blue carpeting is still in the car.

Overall a nice solid little car. let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them.     A $500 deposit is required upon auction close and shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
