This vehicle is quite rare. We cannot even find another one like it restored to compare it to. There is one in the US un-restored for about $10. 00 missing many parts. It escaped destruction during the second world war and found its way into the US. Restored about 25 to 30 years ago and stored inside ever since. This is a Right hand drive car. You will notice that the red on the body is a red leatherette material. This was done in those days and it still looks great. This car can be driven however the clutch is quite stiff and need adjusting. We broke a woodruff key in the drive system while driving it because of the stiff clutch. It has been replaced. If you pop the clutch it could shear the key and you will not move until it is fixed. New tires 10 years ago. New battery. and this car is front wheel drive. You will also notice that the shift linkage goes through the fuel tank. Yes. they did that as well. This is a great looking drivable car and in great condition for its age. There is a frame but also some wood supports on the bottom and years ago during restoration some of the wood was coated with fiberglass to preserve it and seal it from the effects of water. It is still the same today as it was when it was restored. My father in law has owned this car since 1976 and as long as I have known  him has kept this in inside storage. There are two things I can think of that do not function properly or have a missing or broken part. That is the flippers that come out when the turn signals are turned on telling people behind you which way you intend to turn. Some of the parts are there but I do not think we have all the pieces. These pop out of the pillar and then drop back in after you turn. I think they are called trafficators.   They will need to be repaired to make then function properly.   Turn signals are in the tail lights. I believe it also need wiper arms and blades. Good Morning,
I'm from the place of the license plate (WIL HU 86) stands. May you ask if the car is from Wittlich and who owns it.
Best regards, Jörg
Merry Christmas
