This ad is for a 1966 Ford Mustang in white (TAX EXEMPT). The

car

is a recent Southern Californian import. therefore there is no rot or rust on the floor pan. The only bit of bubbling is on one of the gutters above the door which is nothing too bad. the previous owner in the states had carried out a number of upgrades to the

vehicle

these include:
new

fuel

tank

new shocks
new leaf springs
new

steering

bushes
new

exhaust

bushes
the car is a good solid

reliable

base car that could happily be used as is or restored at very little expense to a show standard car. personally i like it as it is due to its practicality. it is a honest car with no hidden

nasties . it has a few dinks and dents but nothing major or detrimental to the

car's

appearance . the car would benefit from new window seals which are easily available in the UK and cheap. The car is used as a daily run around and is being sold solely to fund other projects we have.

It has a 200 cubic inch straight six engine which equates to about 3. 4 ltr. this means its doesn't just drink fuel like a V 8 would but still has plenty of poke! A new

water

pump

has been recently fitted.

The interior of the car is in very good condition and has the very sort after black pony seats with no rips or tears. with original carpets. the dashtop has cracked due to the high temperatures in southern california therefore it has gone britle and cracked in a few place on the top of it where it has been exposed to the sun. The dash has had a carpet cover put on which is made to fit mustangs and looks the part.

All of the bright wear on the car is in really nice condition with no pitting or peeling. the front bumper is brand new.

Solid unmolested dry state first generation mustangs are getting harder to find and becoming more sought after therefore they are a good investment due to rising prices.

sorry forgot to mention its taxed .

and uk registered its done around 55 k miles.

I bought the car in Jan 2011 in LA county while we was at the Grand National Roadster show at Pomona. I kept it at a friends there until later part of the year and shipped in prior to christmas arriving NY eve.

Bottom ball-joints are a bit rattly and may need replacing.

I dont mind people ringing and asking questions etc. but if you call making arrangements to come and see the vehicle please turn up or give me a call to say you cant come. rather than me waiting around for people who dont turn up. Cheers

Thanks for the calls and mails regarding the car. bottom line is the starting bid. its a no brainer selling any less its my daily run around. it saves me around £700 per year on tax and insurance. f I do sell the car I will only blow it on something else. so anybody's welcome to come. ook and have a brew but you will be wasting your time with offers below. got the car advertised elsewhere for more money and if I get a buyer then the auction will be ended cheers.

This as got to be one of the cheapest good condition and usable Cars in this price range.

I've had my fun and now for some sun back in California
