FRESH IMPORT JUST IN FROM JAPAN. BEEN A JAPANESE IMPORT THE CARINA IS SOLID AND ORIGINAL NEVER BEEN WELDID SOLID FLOORS. CHASSIS RAILS. INNER SILLS. REAR POCKETS ARE LIKE NEW YOU CAN SEE ALL THE SPOT WELDS FROM MANUFACTURE.

I WILL TRY TO GET THE CARINA ON A RAMP FOR MORE DETAILED PICTURES OF THE FLOORS AND SILLS ETC.

The first-generation Carina was manufactured from December 1970. and sold at Toyota Store dealership channels in Japan. sharing its platform with the Toyota Corolla Store exclusive Toyota Celica sports coupe. while the already established Toyota Corona was sold at Toyopet Store locations. Its European release took place in October 1971 Toyota was able to save development and tooling costs by building a family sedan and a sports car on the same platform and in the same factory. The Carina filled the size gap between the smaller Corolla and the larger Corona.

Standerd from Toyota comes reclining seats with built-in head restraints. radio. clock. reversing lights and servo-assistance on the brakes: these were features which. where available on competitor models. tended to be offered only as options at extra cost.

Interior can be described as immaculate original C vinal seats. 4 speed box. T series toyotas reliable engine starts first time every time. These Carinas are by far the best looking sports slick styled japanese car of its day. br/>
I have put a set of brand new alloys all round with new tyres. will come with 12 month MOT and registered for its new owner
