For sale is a 1964 Austin Healey BJ 8 with an upgraded engine and replaced mechanicals. The engine was rebuilt in 1999 using JE pistons and a Dennis Welch high performance camshaft. All the engine internals were replace and includes an adjustable cam sprocket. xtrude hone intake manifold. aluminum sump. aluminum backplate. ceramic coated headers and a lighten flywheel. The gearbox was completely rebuilt in 2000 and shifts like new. Wheel cylinders. 72 spoke wire wheels. hubs. brake hoses. wheel cylinders. spark plugs and wires. and the carburetors refreshed. This is just a small part of the list. a more detailed list can be had upon request. The body has no rust on it. It does have some filler in the nose and a few cracks in the paint on the hood. The gas filler paint is discolored. The interior is in above average condition. the seat materials are not the same pattern.
There are many Austin Healey's on the market that look aesthetically pretty and function poorly. This car runs and drives far better the average Healey.
