Beautiful numbers matching W-72 Trans Am

          Here is a 1978 Trans Am.  It is an original black with gold decals car. along with the black vinyl interior.  The Special Edition Option was added. as was new 15x8 Snowflake rims. from the WS6 package.  The tires are P245/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's. which have approximately 4. 00 miles on them.
          THIS IS A NUMBERS MATCHING CAR--meaning. it still has the engine. transmission. and rear end. that it left the factory with!  The engine is the optional W-72 (Pontiac) T/A 6. 6 400ci. (220 HP). with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. and posi-traction rear end with 3. 23 gears.  Other options on the car are an AM-FM stereo. rear defogger. and air conditioning--which has been rebuilt with a new compressor. along with being converted to 134A refrigerant.  It works well. and blows air nice and cold.  As of July 8th. the car has 84. 56 miles on it.  The car is in excellent condition.  The body has a paint job. with a mirror like finish. along with all new decals. and new Special Edition grilles.  The interior was restored. with new carpeting. headliner. door panels. seat covers. and sill plates. along with the steering wheel. dash panel. and shifter bezel plate all being restored in the Special Edition gold finish.  The trunk was refinished with the proper spatter paint. new carpet and decals. and has the requesit jack and spare.  The engine compartment is in very good original condition.  The car received a Ziebart undercoating treatment. that was applied when the car was new.  
          THIS IS A NATIONAL SHOW WINNING CAR!  In 2012. it received a second place trophy; and in 2013. a first place trophy. at the Trans Am Nationals. in Dayton. Ohio--which is the largest national event for the Firebird body cars.  This show is approximately 425 miles from my home.  I drove the car there both years. and it ran like a champ!
          Parts that have been replaced. include: thermostat (with a 180* unit). temperature sending unit. (driver's door) window regulator. gas tank. starter. exhaust system (true duals with H-pipe). rear brake hose. harmonic balancer. and the rear end was rebuilt.  I have the PHS documentation. nbsp;build sheet. and all the records and receipts from my work done. and the previous owner.  It is kept in a heated. insulated garage; not driven in inclement weather; and. has never been smoked in.
