1976 PONTIAC TRANS AM 455 4 SPEED

This is a BEAST! This is a real deal WX code 1976 Pontiac Trans am 455 HO with her original 4 SPEED. THE 5th spot in the VIN is a "W" this tells you it was a 455 and the "W" was only used in the 75-76 as the 455. This is a true 1976 455 HO 4 SPEED Trans AM and if you like BALLS then this as all you need.

This car spent a long long long time put away and when I got her she needed to be gone through. which I did with new fluids. new decal kit. new brake booster and a complete tune up. The man I got her from had her on consignment at the wrong place so I made a call. He said he bought her with 33k original miles in 1990 and then put around 10k miles on her in the next ten years until he left her in the garage only starting her every 3-4 months religiously with the occaional trip around the block. I got her back to life. she runs like a bat out of hell.

 

The paint is in good shape and has been redomne once yeara ago. I bought the new decals to make her pop. The body is straight and she is a very solid car as this car has always been in Washington State and void of any salt exsposure.

 

Mechanically. she is original with her numbers matching 455 and original 4 speed. She will peal the tires right off this car and if you want to "drive some excitement" then consider this car. She is a rare one and with the prices going up fast on these. it is a very good time to get one. Especially. the last year of the 455 HO.

The interior is reallllly clean and looks like it has very little miles. The dash is incredible. headliner and carpet are sweet and the seats are almost perfect. ALL THE GAUGES WORK! AFTER MARKET RADIO WORKS! WIPERS WORK AS DO THE LIGHTS AND TAIL LIGHTS!

 

TURN KEY DRIVER WITH SOME SERIOUS HORSEPOWER!

 

Of the 46. 00 plus TRANS AM's they made in 1976 just over 7000 were 455 HO 4 Speeds so they made a few but I bet there are less then a handful left in good shape.
