1994 Toyota MR2 Turbo Race Car “Rogue Motorsport”

 

Looking for a competitive track car for the coming Season? Benefitting from a full mechanical rebuild (less than 3000 miles ago) using Championship parts from Rogue Motorsport and running an estimated 320BHP. this road-legal flying machine is ready to take on the World!

 

Our car dates from 1994 and was imported into the UK in December 2005. After it was acquired by it`s second keeper in April 2007. modifications started with the addition of a Blitz Dual SPC Boost System but the real work took place during the spring of 2008 when a local company with specialist racing knowledge (Motorcare of Frome) undertook a complete engine re-build using parts sourced from the UK`s leading MR2 specialist. Rogue Motorsport.   This included:

 

Removal of engine and rebuilt using Wossner forged pistons. Eagle con rods. ACL big end and main bearings. ARP head and main studs. freshly machined Rev 3+3SGTE cylinder block. new cam belt. water pump. head gasket. starter motor. Helix clutch. bottom gaskets and fresh oils.

 

Whilst the engine was out of the car. the gearbox was removed and re-built by Motorcare. Having now invested over £6000. the owner knew that there was no turning back (!) and started to upgrade the remainder of the car with replacement lightweight GRP bonnet and boot panels. boot spoiler. Corbeau Forza 2000 full race seats and Schroth race harnesses. Richbrook gear shifter. full race suspension. drilled and grooved front and rear brake discs and Carbotech XP8 brake pads.

 

In the summer of 2008. the car took to the track for the first time and has been a successful contender since with regular outings at Castle Combe. On the open road. it is understandably brutal with staggering acceleration and astonishing road manners. The car comes with a current MOT Certificate to May 2013.

 

In addition to comprehensive re-build paperwork from 2007 to date. the car comes with old MOT Certificates and 2 sets of alloy rims with both road-going Toya rubber and a set of semi-slicks.
