For Sale is My Parents 1926 Hudson Super Six 2 Door!
This is an incredibly Clean and Original Hudson Super Six 2 door sedan From the rust free State of PA. It was a barn find by the previous owner from whom they purchased it about 8 years ago.
My Parents are the third owners and in their seventies. they have used it as a parade car and for occasional Sunday Drives. She is called "Honey" and Stored inside when not being used.
The Car Literally had been stored in a Pennsylvania Barn since 1936 when the previous owner bought it and owned it as part of his collection.
It had about 34. 00 Miles when my parents purchased it and the odometer worked for a couple of years and then quit. Probably driven less than 200 miles a year. it still has under 40K Original miles.
Rust Wise it has None except for a couple inch sized spot on the inside of the right rear wheel housing. It is very clean underside.
The Green Paint on the Topsides of the car is Original. the Black paint on the lowers and running boards has been re painted. The Original Upholstery on the seats. Headliner and door panels is still reasonably good. And the Dash also is Original and looks great.
All of the Glass. The Headlamps and even the Tail lamps with the word "Stop" cast in them. are in remarkable condition.
The Original Floor mat is worn and has been over covered with some carpet.
The Steering Wheel is a Stunning piece of Craftsmanship in Mahogany or Chestnut Maybe and is in great original condition.
My Stepdad Refinished the beautiful Oak and Steel Spoked Wheels with a Green which does not quite match the Original color but they still look very nice.
The Car starts right up and runs by all measures of a car this age. very well. The engine is sound and quiet. doesn't smoke when running and the Car drives well.
All 5 Tires are Authentic white wall replacements of the originals and in Excellent Condition.
Clutch and Brakes all function well and the 3 speed Manual Transmission shifts as well as you can shift it!
The Fuel Pump has been replaced with an Electric and the Exhaust is also newer.  
Overall. the originality of this Hudson is just impressive and many feel it better to leave a car like this unrestored to be enjoyed as a vintage piece of Automobile Engineering from a bygone era.
My Parents have really enjoyed owning this and are ready to Sell it to the next caring owners.
Either Restored or left Original. it is sure to be a Meaningful investment to the Purchaser.
