It is a 5 cylinder 2. 2 liter Turbo.   The car was ordered from Audi in Europe when Audi still worked closely with Treser so all of the body modifications and bumpers as well as the super sound system 10 speaker with a cassette player ( Hey. that was top of the line then) and special 101/2 inch alloy wheels designed by Audi to cool the rotors special steering wheel. rear head phone jack. special Velour uphhostry. special shocks. springs. and sway bars for better handling ( this car will go 160 miles an hour) and you needed the wheels and struts to keep this rascal between the lines going around curves much faster than any normal car could accomplish.  It also has body color mirrors and bumpers. ABS. on board computer. electric seats. drivers seat has 6way memory. heated rear window and side mirrors. the side mirrors are electric. power windows. locks. A/C. tinted windows. metallic sapphire blue paint with clear coat. ski boot. and the gas milage is excellent. These are not cheap ground effects the wheel well treatments are cut in and welded to the vehicle.  The front. rear and side ground effects are solid and look great. The car came shipped from Audi in  Europe with Treser Audi Super 5000 decaled on the rear deck lid.  I have not been able to find any of these around any where.  It is not a quattro it is a front wheel drive only.  Slow on the start but very quickly the turbo starts spooling and this car will fly.  I haven't driven it much and the car belonged to my father who was beginning to get very ill and couldn't drive the car any more.  'the car has around 75000 original miles on it.  I Have several projects I am working on right now before I let it go.  I have a good car cover for it but the weather has taken its toll on the paint so I would say you might want to look at a new paint job which if you use the same color (its still a good color per Audi).  I am retiring soon and I don't have the time or the extra money needed to keep this one of a kind Audi in good working order and paint it too.  I know someone out there knows  about these one of a kind limited production Treser Audis and would like to own one and could keep  up with the inevitable aging of all the plastic and interior parts work required if you want to keep it pristine which is not critical except the running gear and the motor and the defrost.   Having a shop to work on this car would help too.  I do not have access any longer to a shop and I don't recommend working in the driveway or back yard!
This car is fun to drive but at this age you also have to love it to keep all of the gizzmos and old plastic inside cooked by the sun. in good condition.  I bought the wheels that are in the pictures because I could not afford the 230/45 VR 415 Mich. TRX tires to fit the metric 10 1/2 inch wheels.  But while they were still on there the car drove like it was glued to the road.  It was less money for me to buy all 4 wheels and tires that you see here than I could buy 4 of the Michelins for the Audi wheels.  I have a good spare tire on the original factory steel rim for this car.   I have all of the paper work on this car including the original order and receipt plus all the repairs and maintenance.  The car needs to  be driven it cannot sit up as it will atrophy and those plastic and other small repairs and some big ones to will be coming much sooner than they should.  This is a good heavy but not too heavy model.  It rides  very firmly with all of the performance suspension on it. but it also had a large trunk and will sit five people well and has plenty of room for luggage. skis. and seating 4 would be perfect if you are skiing.  I have the  original wheels and the new ones.  The originals could use a paint job.  © 2014 MicrosoftTermsPrivacy & cookiesDevelopersEnglish (United States)

I was injured at work and have been unable to move around much so the car has just been sitting. I live in North Carolina-USA. Unfortunately the transmission started slipping and I had it rebuilt by Cottmans Transmission since they are located all across the US.However the rebuild didn't fix the car and now they won't stand behind the work. Also now the hydraulic pump for the steering and the brakes needs replacing, the heater fan inside needs to be replaced, and the A/C is leaking though it still cools well. My girlfriend ruined the hyd. pump, and a friend of mine did something to the transmission because it never had a problem until I let him drive it "once" to help me out since I was injured. Needless to say the car still looks the same but it now needs a lot of repairs. Make me an offer if you are still interested in the car. The engine runs fine and the rest of the drive line and brakes etc. are in excellent condition. I love the car but cannot afford to fix it any more. It needs to go.
