My MR2 was first registered as a demonstrator by the supplying dealer before passing to the first private owner. On the 27th August 2008 ownership passed to the second private owner Mr Wilson. The MR2 was purchased for his wife. Over the coming five years the MR2 would be little used and average just over one thousand miles per year. My MR2 has been garaged and virtually unused for the past two years. I have the original Leather wallet containing all the relevant literature. I also have two remote keys in working order and the master key is also present.

A General and Honest Description of my MR2 Roadster.

On the Road: The car starts on the first turn of the key and the drive is fantastic. The six speed gear box changes smoothly and accurately both up and down the box. The clutch is perfect. The engine is smooth. quiet and extremely powerful. The steering is tight and positive and the suspension and ride is excellent. The brake pads and discs are in excellent condition and perform perfectly.   All the electrics are in excellent working order. My MR2 drives and handles like it was intended. There are no faults at all.  

Engine Compartment: All the panels are free from dust and oil and quite immaculate. See my pictures.

Interior: The Soft Top roof lining material is quite perfect with no marks. stains or fading. The Acapulco cloth seats are also in superb order and show very little sign of wear. The dash. doors and centre console materials are all in perfect condition. The floor carpets are in really excellent condition with no signs of wear at all. “I can't stress enough how perfect the cars interior is”. It is completely unmarked!!

Wheels and Tyres: All four alloy wheel rims are highly polished and in stunning condition.  The rear tyres have decent tread depth and good for a few thousand miles yet. The front tyres were fitted brand new on Tuesday and have covered less than 40 miles. The spare wheel has never been on the car.     

Body Work and General Condition: As is common with any used car there will be a certain amount of wear and tear as it has been used. My low mileage Toyota MR2 has suffered very little. All the body panels are exact and completely free from the usual every day dents and scratches. With the exception of perhaps a chip the car is near perfect condition. The under side of the car is clean. solid and there are no oil leaks. Just as you would expect from a low miles car. The complete exterior is really quite exceptional.

So what are you buying?

A very low mileage car in quite exceptional condition. Toyota engineered and bullet proof build quality. All the mechanics and electrics are in perfect working order. The interior is in quite remarkable condition and lift the bonnet or boot lid you will find they are equally as nice. All the door checks are spotless as are the sill tread plates perfect. The Mot is valid until April 2014 and taxed until the end of October. Having done only 700 miles since the last service. I have just had the MR2 inspected from front to back prior to putting her up for sale. The mechanic commented that you could see that it had been a very well looked after car.   Nothing required at all apart from a couple of tyres. There is nothing for the new owner to do but drive away and enjoy.
