1956 MORRIS MINOR FACTORY FITTED CONVERTIBLE VG CONDITION BUT NOT CONCOURSE

I'm selling my lovely Moggy "Maggie" She is a lovely old girl Born 1956 with convertible hood and split screen front window. I've been told she is a RARE CAR as most convertibles are post production and not many splities around Hasn't been spoiled by adding modern items She has arm indicators No seat belts No radio Shes as nature intended her She originally came with a 803cc engine but now has a 948cc engine I not sure when she grew bigger but think it may have been 1988 I believed her to be a 1000 but someone on ARonline FB site has informed me she is probably a Series 11 Apparently she was on the cusp of the production of the two different models She is grey with Maroon hood and maroon/red interior Previous owner had hood seats and interior renewed in 2006 and they are still immaculate as very rarely used since Engine starts on the button I haven't started her since bringing her back from Cornbury Park Morris Centenary 16th June last year yet she just sprung in to action starting first time at the pull of the starter knob Her original plate was PSU 809 BUT DVLA issued her current plate in 1993. (The then owners initials according to the paperwork) I bought her August 2009 when she had only 29. 63 miles on her clock She has now got 30. 14 cos I've done a whopping 451 miles in the 5yrs I've had her. Taking her out only occasionally from her warm dry cosy garage to visit a classic car show or for a trip to the pub She has never been put to bed wet and been well covered up to keep her beautiful!!! Her body work is in great condition ( though not concourse) with good tyres She has been serviced. oil filters etc. every year up to 2013 Not looked at since then as her dad no longer around!!! As you will be aware as she's a classic lady she doesn't need taxing and no MOT needed either Last one expired July 2010 and she'd passed that with flying colours With fully comprehensive insurance around £85 (that's what I have just paid) she's a low maintenance female!!!!!! She comes with lots of paperwork including the original registration book and some spares and a krook lock She also has her wicker picnic basket with contents ready to sit on her rear chrome luggage rack for those lazy hazy days of summer.
