1922 Cadillac 7 Pass with Vt Antique John Deere Hit Miss Tractor Engine History for sale
Current customer rating:
1922 Cadillac Type 61-V 8. 7 Passenger Suburban.
This big impressive car has an interesting History. It was purchased from the Estate of the Great-Great Grand Daughter of John Deere himself. It's a time capsule car because of the original condition. The interior and exterior are original along with the drive train. Miles are actual 16. 46.
The V-8 was fired up last Fall. It ran with good oil pressure and the charge was positive. It was driven on the farm and also displayed in a local museum setting with John Deer Hit and Miss Engines. The car has not been driven with any extensive road miles for the past 20 yrs.
The body is solid and the paint has age wear. The Interior should be considered very nice for it's age. The doors are straight with no sag. The springs still have the original leather covers with ties. Tires are new but era correct--(Goodrich Silvertown). All Lights and gauges work (including interior lights). Glass is clear. As the pictures show. the car features the rare and original front and rear bumper option with dual mount spares. Even with the limited miles driven. the steering and brakes felt tight.
The exhaust does need some work and the drivers side window is the only one to roll down.
The Reserve has been set at a very reasonable $19. 00. 00

Comments and questions to the seller:
from JOHN LYNN TERRYI saw this car - the exact same one at the Mountain View Restaurant in Bloomingburg, NY today (August 8, 2017)
A real winner. And I know it is the same car from the slight imperfection on the lower rear corner on the drivers side.
Like the statue of Moses when Michael Angelo struck it and made a mark with his hammer because it was too perfect, this car is in a class all in its own category and a testament to the genius of man and his ability to make machines.
