This car is titled. licensed and being driven in Wisconsin with turn signals. horn. rearview mirror. seatbelts and windshields.

This is not a fast car or a race car - just an easy cruiser that gets a lot of attention everywhere you go.   A head turner for sure.

It has 2016 miles since completion 2 years ago on a 40HP engine built as new by MOFOCO in Milwaukee. WI.   New starter and generator. clutch. shift kit. battery. wheels. tires. shocks. nbsp; 11 gallon Poly rotomolded gas tank. fuel pump and lines.   The brakes are completely new including front drums. front wheel bearings. all brake lines. wheel cylinders and master cylinder - rear drums were turned. It has an aircleaner and a performance collector exhaust system as shown in the pictures.   Most of the body fasteners are stainless steel or zinc plated.

Antique MESSKO radiator cap/thermometer as shown in the pictures.

As near as I can tell this car has been kicking around since the 70's and was never finished and driven before coming into my possession. The body is in original condition and still in the factory yellow gelcoat. It shows signs of being moved around a lot but all damage is minor and superficial.   The kit probably originated from Antique and Classics in Buffalo. NY. but I cannot say for sure. I was told that it is built on a 1963 VW chassis. but have not verified this.

There are miscellaneous brochures. catalogs and receipts that came with the car along with an HP Books engine manual and the Haynes Beetle manual.

A car cover and a box of miscellaneous stuff that came with the car is included.

There is a rust thru on one of the front suspension sheet metal braces that I do not consider critical - a replacement used. unrusted front end is included with the car.

Wiring is functional. not pretty.

The transmission has not been touched and has the typical VW Bug mushy feel in the shifter. It makes no noises and is solid.
