Offering for sale my 1958 MG-A Roadster. This classic car has undergone a full and photo documented. frame off restoration. This beautiful MG-A runs and drives excellent. Mechanically the car is very strong with great compression of 140-150 psi on all cylinder and excellent oil pressure. The engine was completely rebuilt during the restoration and has been carefully maintained since. The mileage listed is on the engine rebuilding.
This is one of the nicest high end driver cars on the market today. that can be taken to local auto shows as well. The car has records going back to 1987 documenting all the work that's been done to the car. Also have restoration pictures and original production data from British Motor Industry Trust.
To elaborate on the condition of this car:
Paint/Body: The paint is beautiful on the car and has a lot of depth. There are a few very minor blemishes that are acceptable considering that the car was driven occasionally. The body and lines are extreamely straight. One of the best MG bodies you will find with no rust anywhere on the car. All the chrome is in excellent condition with no pitting.
Interior/Softtop/Tonneau: The interior of the car is very clean and the seats and tonneau cover were just replaced on 3/27/13. Burlwood dash is in perfect condition with no wear or damage.
Underside/Floors:The underside and frame are solid and clean. The wooden floors are solid and straight. There is no rust underneath the car. The overall condition of the underside is excellent.
Engine Compartment: Clean. ust free and painted the correct color.
Overall this is a beautiful. fully restored classic driver/touring car that can be proudly shown at clubs and car shows. The car never fails to attract a crowd!!
